Sir if I terminate my articleship today for joining some company ie for Industrial Training then is there some time limit within which i should join the company? For eg: I terminate on 25.08.2010 and I join some company for industrial training on 25.09.2010(after a month from termination) then is it fine? Because i have already terminated but still confused which company to join..
There is no time limit as such for re-registration. Search a good company. A few weeks doesn’t matter. (Even during my articleship, due to unforseen circumstances, during transfer I had taken a gap of nearly one and half month.)
Thanks a lot for your response.
I want to know that whether any other form or letter is to be submitted along with form 109 for termination. I am terminating as joining a good company for industrial training.
No other form or letter is needed.
However as a good practice a covering letter preferably signed by the Principal is usually sent, This letter states that the article was in the firm from …date to …date, and s/he is terminating articles from …date. [If needed, then reason of termination can be given]. And that the records at the ICAI end be updated, and confirmed.
This covering letter also mentions the attachments being sent viz. Form 109.
Sir, I am going to give my IPCC first group in may 2011, can i take ITT classes after giving my first group exams and , i have to submit any application for that? actually i am worry about my graduation exams which is in june2011. so,can you advice me about all this.
As per recent decision of ICAI as communicated by President ICAI in Sept 2010
Is there any restriction for register under Blood Relative for Articleship ?
There is no restriction. One can do articleship under one’s Dad / Mom / Brother / Sister / or any other relative.
sir i completed 2 year 6 months articles, now i got government job, because of my financial problem i decided to go for the job my principal also willing to give termination. will institute accept my request for termination i am PE-11 batch
please give me answer
If you terminate when 6 months are remaining and join Govt job, then you will not be able to appear in the CA exams.
There should not be any problem to the institute in giving you termination – you just have to attach your appointment letter with the covering letter that goes with Form 109, citing the reason for termination.
Also, while you are in govt job, you wont be able to do remaining part of articleship just by taking normal leave like EL (or even LWP !). You would have to take the “Study Leave” that a govt official can take, and along with special permission from Institute to complete the remaining duration of articleship.
Now that you have got a govt. job, and if you dont intend to do CA any longer, then you have nothing to worry regarding termination – as Articleship is not a job (many students just leave it like that – and in due process their name get removed from registers of ICAI).
But if you intend to finish CA at some point of time, then do the necessary process required for termination
what are the forms to be submitted after completion of articleship
