I bought Samsung E2232l mobile in Dec 27,2011 in india,but it was not working in mexico for vodafone.the same vodafone sim international roaming is working in other mobiles.only it is not working in samsung E2232 mobile.Please help me to get on samsung mobile.

i have disconnected my landline phone no.=033-2571 8944 issued under the name of paresh guchait and also the broadband plan which was under the same.
but i have not got my refund back of both landline connection and braoadband plan.
I have also completed all the procedures for the same.
so,kindly look into the matter and help me as soon as possible.

I would like to have a bsnl broadband connection in kalawar village, koteswara kundapur taluk. since last 6 month we are trying submit our applicaton and get receipt but conserned officer are not willing to do so. Keep on asking labour charge, material charge etc before taking the application………….. is it official? is telcom authority aware of such things? is the service so poor in bsnl?
please let me have a feedback on this regard.

I bought the samsung e2232 mobile before 3 months . the problems i’m getting are

1. I cannot mute the network related messages. like the network related alerts (last call costs like that)
2. If i set the message alert tone downloaded from the net (or transferred from other mobiles) it keeps on beeping. but my tone is small length only.

Please help me if anyone knows the solution….

India plaza canceled a book about 2 months ago and since then I have not received refund. I have spent more money in telephone communication vs the book price. Extremely unprofessional.

Each time I call up , I have to tell the entire history and then some stupid questions are asked and then they would say that they will forward my query to the concerned authority – (only to be discarded perhaps)..
I have refunded the wrong book sent to me , have incurred courier charges and on top of this hassle and harassment,

The ticket I raised has not been resolved until yet and is open.

Dear Friends,

Indiaplaza is offering pathetic services to customers and buying from them is more of a trouble than a convenience. I ordered a book The mustard seed by Osho order ID I05011201853 on 05/01/12 and paid by my debit card.
My order status was being shown as pending authorization so I talked about this with customer care and I was told that if I send the transaction ID and other details they will quickly authorise the order which I did without delay but they still didn’t authorise my order.
I have talked to customer care thrice and have mailed them but to no avail. They take 4 -5 days even to confirm/authorise the order, what to say of delivery.

Website is poorly maintained and I suggest one MUST NOT shop at Indiaplaza.

to be frank this is one of the last silly thing i will be doing to save my cell one number [EDIT]. i have complained several times to the customer care/people who check mobile network/ udupi DGM [EDIT].. and so on. the general trend is like this. if u go to bsnl office with a complaint they will say you call higher officials..we cant do anything. higher officials are saying because of [EDIT] s 2G scam there will not be any developmental works in bsnl for long time to come. oh.. i forgot my complaint… I AM GETTING WEAK SIGNAL IN MY CLINIC @NEW MEDICAL CENTRE, SHET BUILDING, MAIN ROAD, KUNDAPURA, UDUPI DISTRICT, KARNATAKA. one person below DGM even gave a very good idea. CHANGE NETWORK. no headache sir….. is anybody listening?

i have faced the similar problem as anbu… even in silent mode when the service reply comes it vibrates the mobile. my calls to service providers and samsung to stop the service replys didn’t help.

I bought samsung hero 2232 mobile. When i bought i got problem on the phone. The phone was automatically switched off within 5 to 6hrs. Then after i open the battery and insert again then phone works properly. Everyday i am getting same problem. Although I am writing this mail but i dont know any action would be taken on this or not. Well i am trying to redeem my Citibank credit points for last 4 days but not able to do so. I had to send a gift to my family member on 8th but now i cnt do dat.
The customer care executives are really useless and uncooperative. They dnt even know what they are saying.

On 3rd of December i had a word wid some one named Mr Vivek, According to him “The wesite is down, the server has crashed citibank website is not working so you cnt make the payments mam. Kindly wait for an hour and everything will be up. Our IT team is trying its level best to put the server up.” —- Can any body tell me who hired him and what are his qualifications.

on 4th i tried again to place the order but cldnt and had a word with Mr Naveen, According to him “I need to call both the India Plaza customer care and the citibank to authenticate the payment at the time when i am trying to initiate the payment”… How can i call both at same time. Secondly bank authenticates the transaction not a customer.

5th morning i had a word with someone called Ms Priya, According to her…”My system has a problem, may be some network issue at my end.” wen i CONVINCED her that dere is no problem at my end den she told me… “mam dere is some problem wid google chrome & firefox. U kindly try making transactions through Internet Explorer. We dnt have a tie up wid Chrome & firefox hence our website wnt run on dose websites…” Please somebody tell her that firefox & chrome are nt websites…

5th Afternoon i again tried for the last time to make the payment. i am trying again and again cause i have to send a gift to somewhen and dat is available on India Plaza site only. The site is taking more then the MRP that the mobile store offers still i m trying to purchase it from here.

well cuming back to point on 5th afternoon i had a word with and amazing personality. It seems STARPERFORMER of the your organisation. on telling him my problem he first asked me to stay on hold. He kept me on hold for good 27 minutes and then simply said ” I am very sorry for the inconvenience caused mam. What you can do is log in ur account, see for my account options > open pending orders > mam there is the payment u did. Mam kindly click on the cancel order and cancel your order. u will get ur payments back… On asking how to order the phone that i am trying to buy so he told me dat “mam u have other options also to buy”.

Lastly i asked raj to transfer his call to his senior. He gave the call to Mr Jitendra. I dnt know wat is his designation but he is unaware of wat are the modes of the payments on the website. I was the one who was telling him. then he said mam there is some technical error it seems. Give me ten minutes i’ll revert back to u but its more den 2 hrsr but i have got no call from him or any body else.

Its nt the first time i am ordering from india plaza but i m facing the problem for the first time…. Well i can only say here: May God help your organization.

I ordered Sony Ericsson mobile phone Xperia neo-V with indiaplaza.in on 18th November ( Friday ) after confirming the stock position telephonically. Till today I have not received the same.

My repeated calls have made me realise that this is a true example of a fraud company. They all are liars, give false promises & commitments. Even to the extent that they gave me docket number of First Flight that never existed.

Liars, liars & ALL liars ! This is all I can say for Indiaplaza.com team. DO NOT …. I repeat … DO NOT order through this portal ever in your life even if the prices are tempting.

Firstly the back office have no knowledge about what is mentioned on their own website. Their internal order tracking & reply system is so pathetic that every single person you speak to regarding your order will give you some different reply/story. Most times the team leader Shashikala dodged my phone calls on the pretext of having gone for lunch … lunch at 3:30 pm ???? whome are you trying to fool ? They talk nicely but are complete liars. Website may say the shipment time is 2 ~ 4 days but be prepared for atleast 7 days shipment or even more ( depending on your luck & patience ). Add to this the shipping days. The tracking number they give is fake just to keep you calm. Although they got authorisation from my bank in less than 24 hours, they lied telling me it took them more than 72 hours. Everyday from the 4th day of my order they kept saying the product is shipped ( but it never really was & till now I have not received it ).

I have written a mail to vaithee as someone mentioned. Can anybody help ?

I had purchased the pyaari jodi sim at Bangalore BSNL office in September 2011. The FRC amount was Rs.33. The problem is I am not able to recharge my number from any recharge vendor or online. What should i do? Also the sms cost is 60 ps /msg. Is this the correct tarriff?

You cannot imagine – the Madhur Courier people here – till 18th Oct (morning) they said that the parcel had not come – and on 20th Oct evening they said that they had returned it !!!

For once I thought one good online shopping idea gone awry due to delivery problems!

I hope you do an official tie-up with some good courier for proper delivery only then you would be able to scale up

Aqua By Nature has not tied up with Sub Standard Couriers, We still operate with DTDC as our primary vendor, When DTDC tightened its policies on sending liquids we had to resort to using a smaller courier company to send the Previous Order to you. That was the first and will be the last time we use that courier service. Due to a string of holidays due to major festivals which came this month sending the replacement was delayed. You must have got a notification on the same already. This parcel was sent via DTDC after i spoke to quite a few people in DTDC Offices here and persuaded them to send it, In fact i have shown the contents so that they are confident it will not leak in transit and packed it in their office itself and then dispatched. That process itself took a week. You were a valued customer hence so much trouble was taken. Else we would have just settled for a Full Refund.

Hope this clears any misundertandings that would have arrised due to issue of this parcel being misplaced. Thanks.

I have found that in every organisation (govt & pvt) – the customer service is pathetic.

Yes you are right – whether you choose English or Hindi – (my experience with other organisations) – Customer Care people at other end are more comfortable with Hindi /Local language (and they are so awful when speaking English!). And apart from this – one does not really know, whether the customer care people one is speaking to belongs to the organisation or is some outsourced agency !

I would suggest go to your local CSC of BSNL from where you have landline connection. Depending on the kind of problem you are facing – tell them to solve it – if needed even visit the mobile exchange. And even if needed complain to the concerned DGM / GM

However, one thing I would suggest, it often happens that services from BSNL end is fine, the problem is with the handset. For example, I have often found that using Samsung handsets gives lots of problems relating to configuration – and on may occasions they simply do not work with services like GPRS / EDGE. And while at the same time, another handset like Nokia would work fine.

To your wanting to throw the SIM, I would say – that the Pyari Jodi still gives 30 minutes free call everyday to the linked landline – and that is quite an advantage!

i have been having Pyari Jodi linked phone problems for over 6 months now.
They have not solved it.
Finally, i persisted in calling 1503, and even asked them to call the supervisor to the line.
Nothing. I have been calling them for the past 2 hours. yes. And i even recorded the calls so that i can send the recordings to someone.
I finally understood the following things about BSNL customer (mis) care. For Baroda, where i took the scheme, the calls go to Ahmedabad. There, even if you chose the english language option. you only get people speaking Gujarati, or hindi (the hindi is pathetic btw). They dont know the procedure, and dont even know how to speak with common decency.
When they transfer calls , many times they forget to put the call on hold music, so there is dead air and soon enough, the calls end automatically. It actually feels that when they see my call coming, they deliberately cut it.
Even the team leader/ supervisor.. whoever came online did not know english.
I am now going to report this to the GM.
Meanwhile, one of the customer (mis) care person told me to call up 1500.
They said they cant understand what is the problem with 1503 people.
i then found this site and am ranting. My wife says just throw it away.
unfortunately we have 2 nos.
I just thought that instead of getting frustated, i should see the comedy angle.
People like Team Anna may say we have corruption problems as problem no. 1.
what about Competency problem… isnt that the biggest problem we have?

Usually the procedure of cancellation is bit long – may take at least two weeks. And refund may take upto three to four months. The refund is sent by cheque to the residential address.

I ordered Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mobile phone worth Rs. 16799/- from indiaplaza.in. on 14th August 2011.Till now they have not responded in any way.I tried to call the customer support but it was of no use as there is no response.I am in real soup now as I have lost a real big sum of money to these cheats.I also sent a query but it was not replied.I want to cancel the order and get a refund.And I will also file a case in the consumer court.These cheats need to be taught a lesson.I read enough complaints about them from all over the internet.Wish I had this knowledge before ordering the product.I think the online shopping community should come together and boycott these cheats.

I ordered two books – The Fakir in English and in Hindi. Received the Hindi book in order but to my disspointment teh English book was completely different,I wrote to India Plaza and agent Santosh wrote back asking me to courier back the book which was wrongly sent. I sent the book back at my cost and asked the status, they replied back saying that the oredered book would be shipped in 3 working days. This was on 16thAgust. Unfortunatelt till date I have niether received the book nor a reply to my query which was resent. The books were paid in advance.
The website is under construction and phone is impossible to get through.
Please can i get the book i ordered as i had to gift it to someone or may i please get a refund.

Hopefully they have woken up to competition !

When I was buying from them, they would add courier charges in addition to the price of book – and that would hike up the price – compared to say Flipkart. If one had discount coupon, that would bring down the price a bit.

However the issue has always been whether the item bought would actually be delivered! After two bad experience, for sometime now, I have put them up on ‘watchlist’ and currently not buying anything from them.

Superb prompt service. Very economical. Recently, we had ordered an imported book on ‘cash on delivery’ with Indiaplaza. They promptly updated on the probable date of delivery. Exactly on that date it had been shipped. We received the book in excellent condition. The packing was superb. Above all the price was around Rs. 1500/- less than all the other online stores. As far as I know, there is no such provision. However you may confirm from local CSC (Customer Service Center) if BSNL can provide such thing.

However, in my opinion a better way is, that if you want to keep records (not the messy paper type), do the online recharge/topup from bsnl.co.in

I would as well add, that the way the cable system works – we have two BSNL landline phones – and both have been drawn from different DP. So recently during rains & also some road digging work, one of the phone was out for nearly two weeks. But the other phone was working properly.

So another solution can be that you can ask them to change the DP from where the wires of your phone comes.

Under Pyari Jodi, the concession are:
1) Unlimited Free calls from mobile to linked landline (however, landline to mobile not free)
2) Concessional calls to TWO BSNL numbers within circle
3) Concessional calls to ONE BSNL number outside circle

Under normal prepaid & ANANT scheme the concession is available on TWO BSNL numbers within circle, and ONE number outside circle.

The concession can vary eg. for Pyari Jodi, its 20 p within circle number, and 30 p for outside circle number

When you wrote, you have bought life time prepaid, it means you have bought Anant SIM. For Anant scheme the concession is 30 p for the two numbers (within circle) & 50 p for one BSNL number outside circle.

Apart from these, migration is also possible between Saral Anant & 49 Paisa per minute & 1 paisa per second plans (subject to certain time limits). You can have 49 paisa per minute (if you talk more) or 1 paisa per second (if you talk less). Under these the concessional calls are charged 20 p per minute to the two BSNL (within circle) numbers, and 30 p for the outside circle number.

Anant scheme is usually used by those who receive more calls and dial less

Dear sir/madem I am complaining u on behalf of 15000 peoples that BSNL had installed a WLL tower which provides also mobile signals in the area,at BHATOLI PAKWAN village under code 01893 within DHARAMSHALA tel distt. But sir ,Its a matter of sorrow that we whole people, who uses BSNL mobiles in the area,are totally on the mercy of the land/premises owner ,on whom land this tower had been installed
because he he switch on /off the tower on his will .When we ask him abt that he insist us to us that u should complaint to telephone authorities ,that they should appiont a person here in the exchange. Sir ur deptt has given total control of the exchange to him. They r misusing electricity and genretor fascilities for their personal uses.For example u can check the electricity bill of their house till exchange has been insttalled. So ur requested to hand over the key and control of the exchange to the regular employees of ur deptt. that people can enjoy ininrupted fascilities of both BSNL WLL &Mobile services. If there will no action abt the matter i will put up this negligence of ur officials with to COMMUNICATION MINISTER.

Service standard is a relative issue. The thing is many private operators do so much advertising that make people think that they are flawless. I have not seen a single operator from whom their subscriber is ‘fully’ satisfied. Apart from this many private operators indulge in different forms of malpractices. I once had Airtel connection and there was not a single day when they did not make three to four advert calls. Despite of asking them to stop this it did not – and finally I had to stop using Airtel.

What I like about BSNL is that firstly it does not do unnecessary adverts. Also, I can go and talk to officials to solve the problem – whereas for private operators – one does not even know if or where they have any office – mostly they hide behind some customer service number or work through franchisees.

As far as I know its only local calls (ie. from any district within circle) to the linked landline that is free. Outside circle normal charges (call + roaming) as per 1paisa/sec plan of BSNL would be applicable.

For pyarijodi nos, validity can be increased by doing recharge (not topup) of any denomination like Rs 55, 110, 220, 280, 330, 1100, 3300 etc.(validity will be increased by 15, 30, 60, 365, 90, 365, 365 days respectively)

@ITPC Pune. Can you plz let us know what is the voucher by which the validity of Pyari Jodi can be increased? For example, under Anant scheme, the validity automatically increases whenever top up is done.

However, for Pyari Jodi it is not clear. The initial period of validity after the FRC is six months. Topping up does not increase its validity. So after the end of six month – what voucher to use to increase the validity.Will we have to use the normal prepaid voucher to increase the validity period?

The Rs 31 is for the FRC (First Recharge Coupon) – without which the Pyari Jodi wont get activated. The FRC comes with talk time of Rs. 15.

To your other query, I would say – why wait for the bill to be delivered. Now a days BSNL has made facility for online payments of landline phones

I am facing problems since 6 months on my landline phone no.0522-2409986 and so far my phone was cut due to non-payment which was made by me because of no response from BSNL as usual. Later on, I paid the bill. But one day (on 09/04/2011), a person from BSNL came and gave me mob. sim no.8765454291 under pyari jodi offer. He told me that this is a free offer but after receiving the sim, he charged me Rs.31/- but the sim was absolutely free. Again I see that my phone is not responding again. Then what is the use of pyari jodi offer when I am unable to talk free. U have sold your sim and got your money. What about my problems?

There can be various conditions attached when you take a SIM attached to post paid SIM.

Particularly the attached SIM can come with various conditions that may make porting difficult. For example the pyari jodi SIM (that comes attached to landline) cannot be ported out.

By reading the FAQ, it seems the reason for disallowing porting out of the linked mobile is the ownership issue. As the owner of the main mobile continues with BSNL, any linked mobile cannot be ported out.

I have taken Pyari Jodi Schema (prepaid) on 26-Mar-2011 from N.R. Colony CSC, Bangalore. I got a talk time of Rs. 33. To check the scheme, I have called my landline number againt which this mobile number was allocated, it was 15 seconds and my balance was reduced by 15 seconds. This means call was charged, as it is suppose to be free.

To check this, I called customer care 1503, but no response from them.

Signal is not an individual issue, but an issue of the area. I would suggest make a representation, and get signature of 20 to 25 subscribers of your area and submit the representation to the DGM or GM incharge. If possible also take media persons with yourself!

Making complaint on such issue alone would hardly elicit any response – the reason is that it is a technical thing relating to towers and orientation of antennas – and also various other factors. Such issues are looked into only when many people would complain.

Pyari Jodi is a New SIM (ie. new number) that you will get free of cost. As far as I know the scheme is valid upto March 31, 2011 – but most likely it has been extended.

Call lasted for 30 seconds. My balance was reduced by Rs.1.00 Means this call was charged,whereas it should be free. why it so. Please reduce amount may kindly be refund. And please do needful.

I would think the best way to check the status of portability is to visit the CSC (Customer Service Center) of BSNL where you submitted your application.

You can try dialing 24365 which is BSNL call center number. If that gets connected, your mobile has ported into BSNL

What do you mean by GPRS balance? GPRS runs with your normal Prepaid / Postpaid. The balance of mobile itself is good enough whether you use it for phone service or GPRS. Only the charges of GPRS would differ from the phone call charges. The GPRS charges are something like 0.01 or 0.02 paisa per KB

@kumaresan under Pyari jodi offer – only new SIM is provided. no migration from other plan is allowed

@heman @jiban @sachin Generally the settings come automatically when the SIM is inserted. However one can delete already existing setting, then get new setting by sending SMS of mobile make to 19000 eg. Nokia 3110 to 19000. However, if problem still persists – there may be due to following reasons:

1) There is some other phone setting which is conflicting with the automatic setting
2) There may be (temporary) problem in the BTS of your region – so you can check the thing in some other area whether it is working there
3) There may be some maintenance work going on at the BSNL end – now this is very complicated – it may be happening in the BSC / MSC /some transmission problem / at Server end / etc. The problem is that such maintenance may last even three to four days – and solution to such problems are not in hand of any single individual or even your local mobile exchange!

The best thing would be to check the thing out with the CSC (Customer Service Center) or put in a complaint at the BSNL call center 24365 – this is the complaint number one should dial if there are such problems occurring

Annual Sports Day 2010, great event . It was first event for me and for my baby as he started just now. But I really felt that few flaws were there, due to whcih kids could not enjoy as they should:
1. They must be given side benches to see the whole event. As they were the part of this whole event and they made the function successful and colorful. They could not see how their classmats and others are doing.
2. I think, equal attention not paid. As individual child is different in his own behaviour and performance, so they must be trained more who are lacking somewhere.
Rest it was great and really awesome.
Thanks to school authorities and teachers for their great effort. I wish all the best for future too.

Usually as soon as SIM is inserted, three – fours command SMS – relating to GPRS – comes automatically which one has to save.

As such you can activate it by sending

Nokia 3110

to 19000

You will receive three four command SMS, which you will have to save when prompted. Then you would be able to use GPRS.

Roaming would be when one goes outside the circle.

Within the circle it is free – it would work just as if one is in ones hometown.

The roaming charges are 1 paisa per second.

Here are the commands -
FF number1 number2. Send it to 53733. Once you register these numbers, you can’t change them for 6 months. After 6 months, to change the numbers, you need to use MODFF oldno newno” and send it to 53733.

I understand that in some circles instead of FF it can be FFE

Usually if a command is wrong, then an sms is sent by the BSNL with details of the correct commands.

The Pyari Jodi SIM to connected Landline call is free UNLIMITED. However the converse ie. from Landline to the SIM is not free and will be charged at normal landline rate (under whatever plan the landline is covered)

However such SIM can be obtained only in the offer period.

My SIM came activated (Jabalpur, MP circle) however, as seen from previous comments in other places like Pune etc., it may take a few days for the SIM to get linked to Landline as ‘Pyari Jodi’

About 1p/sec being deducted even while calling ‘linked’ landline number – I went through the route of first making complaint on 1503 which incidentally is useless customer service. Moreover you have to wait for ever just to talk to customer service rep. Anyway, I personally went to my exchange (Karve Road, Pune exchange) where I had purchased the Pyari Jodi connection. I learnt that Pyari Jodi indeed becomes Pyari Jodi only after all the details are entered in the system. This is different than the mobile connection getting activated. Some times it can take upto 2-3 days for the information to be uploaded on the BSNL servers. So my advice to any new Pyari Jodi customer is to wait for 2-3 days before calling your linked landline. Also, initially as a trial, call for short duration and check balance using *112# and then using 1 as reply to the next screen that comes up.

If call charges is getting deducted on call to linked landline – then report the problem to your Customer Service Center (CSC) from where you got the SIM.

As for the roaming charges on this scheme – the normal roaming charges as applicable to 1p per sec scheme is applicable.

i taken new sim card in pyari jodi scheme on 30_11_2010,my number is 7588323388,till today i have not received activation sms or call from bsnl. when i have taken sim with paying rs33/_for first recharge.that recharge not done by bsnl as told by bsnl customer care officer.
this customer care officer(call at5_15pm/06_12_2010).is very busy without satisfy to me he disconnect the call.

when i asked him for not activation.he asked me 19 digit no.which is on backside of the sim.they told remove sim note no.and call again.
same time i told i.have a packet which is given from your officer while taken 0sim that is the same no.that he denied that no is different.he told me.

how that no different. that person not willing to.talk.
i.think he wants to clear calls in qty.and not in quality.
when i can know status for my sim.

As far as I know FFE is an old command. Not sure whether it is still retained in certain BSNL Circles. Mine (in MP) works with FF command.

The outside circle number can also be registered in the same format viz.

The STD codes has to be without the “0″ prefix. ie. the number should be 10 digit – whether it be Landline or Mobile.

I had the same experience as narrated by Vijay Gupta. I took Payri Jodi SIM from Karve Road Exchange, Pune. I made a test call from this mobile to the linked landline number. To my surprise, I was charged for the call. I am attempting to make a complaint on 1503 since last 2 hours+. I am hearing the standard message all the time but there is no human being answering from the other side.

Also how do you activate the other 2 BSNL landline numbers?

Are you sure that you dialed the linked number?

Have you checked it again? Is the amount still being deducted? Usually during implementation of scheme there may be teething issues that are troubleshooted in one / two days.

I have also taken SIM under this fantastic scheme. The SIM / number provided to me under the scheme is working fine from the very moment I put it in the handset.

That is correct that there seems to be little interaction / socialising among the children. However, I guess as parents we have a bit of anxiety and tend to expect much from children. He tries to teach me too the way she teaches him. Today she told me that he is chewing his finger from last 3-4 days. It was her close observation only, which she could noticed. I was also thinking to tell her to help him out. As at home it is difficult for me to handle with this situation. Hope she will help out.

I was going through kangaroo kids picasa album and came to know about the activities . It was good to see them as normally we just hear it from teacher or from the kid’s mouth but never got an opportunity to see it. I feel proud that my son is part of this school and i have no hesitation to say that this school changed him alot. Still i feel that there is no interaction among the kids, as they behave like strangers. No greet, no play together. I am really worried about my child as I feel he is quite introvert being alone child. From the school I had one feeling that his behaviour and nature will chnage littlebit but still not satisfied. He loves to play alone, but I just love to see him being a part of mob. Let’s hope for the best. I saw few photograps also, but he was not looking like part of those photos. I wish for the best for my child and others too.

Update 12 June 2010: We decided to give Club City another try. And this time we ordered the Spring Roll Dosa (as recommended), and apart from that – Chole Bhatura, Pav Bhaji, and Plain Idli (Chennai Idli).

And I would say, these were pretty tasty – the plain idli was soft and tasty. Spring Roll Dosa was quite a surprise, and the texture of Dosa was also very good. The Bhatura was nice and thin (unlike the thick and unchewable – that is usually found in most places) – and the pav bhaji was also quite tasty – and liked by my wife.

So, definitely, the Club City now seems to have improved its fare. Maybe the earlier issues were due to the teething troubles that often come up when an establishment is set up at a new place.

Apart from taste, regarding the Debit Card system, I would say – usually Debit Card (as seen in another mall at Jabalpur) – its issued till it is returned (there only Rs. 15 is kept as deposit). So, the Debit card does not ‘expire’ the very day.

It would have been preferable if the ‘Debit Card’ is issued without the need to return it the very same time. So one can keep it ‘filled up’ and go for food directly without the need everytime to get into Que – once for getting the card, and secondly for returning it.

I have been to Club City only at Jabalpur – so not sure what it tastes like at any Metro city. But even by Jabalpur standards, the taste of food is very average – I visited Club City one more time later, in addition to the one that is written in the article – and tried other dishes. But the taste was not good enough to let me think of visiting there for snacks or food again.

You may get captive consumers due to Multiplex, but thats different matter altogether.

Thanks for your feedback. Firstly the two items mentioned in ur review are Chinese Combo’s and are not Dosa. We regreat that the taste of the dish didnt meet your expectation. We assure you that the food served at our outlets across India have different flavours and meet our patrons expectations. In noodles we have four different varities to choose from and u can select from any varity. I would also suggest you to try any of our fusion dosa’s — Salad Roast Dosa, American Chopsuey Dosa, Spring Roll Dosa and many more varities — which you wont get anywhere else.

Regarding debit card system, we had introduced the same there for the first time. Its user friendly and saves you from the hassele from paying at each counter and searching for change everytime you pay. As this system is new in Jabalpur, people will take time to understand the same and later on would find it as a convinent option. Most of the food courts in Delhi and mumbai are using debit card system and even Delhi Metro is promoting the system for people convinence.

Anyway we assure you that we will take every step to ensure that the next visit of urs is more convinent and you enjoy the varity of delicasy that we are offering at Jabalpur food court at Samdareeya mall.

I am just back from Jabalpur. I was down there for my summer holidays,to enjoy some quality time with my wife & children. In this kind of heat the Mall is the best place to be, and it was good,we saw the movie HOUSEFUL.Me & children enjoyed being there,my children compared movie-magic to the ones in Dubai,and it is perfect, even clean toilets

U need to work on your mall it is not up to the mark,very poor lighting,music played in the mall is so dam loud as though one has entered a disco-tec,your parking worse. you need to work 2 improve coz ahead you got compit…..

With reference to Receipt number N269515, I Pankaj Singh wish to make you a humble appeal that i am trying to get a connection of BSNL since last 1 month.

I have met everybody whom i can meet and tried everything which i could do from my end to get a connection.

The response that i am getting is that there is a faulty line which needs a repair.

Kindly tell me how much time it takes for the BSNL to get a fault corrected i went to the officials and they have said that it will take a month more.

The point to note here is that i have got a pole in my house and my neighbours connection is running very fine.

As far as I know, there are two upcoming malls – Samdariya Mall at Civic Center (with Multiplex and many branded shops including shops like Idli Plaza!).

The other mall is Treasure Island (Promoted by people behind Sukh Sagar Valley) further ahead on the Narmada Road. Both these are nearing completion.

There is another one planned on MR4 Vijaynagar. However, it has yet to start construction.

Jabalpur is definitely getting trendier!
