Responsive Banks

Some days back, I found that SBI and Axis Bank did not have in their NEFT database a bank branch in which I had an account.

Regarding Axis Bank I wrote to them – however the initial response was as usual – it is not in the RBI list of NEFT.

Thereafter I wrote to them that RBI maintains the list of NEFT branches as a public document and gave them those links.

Thereafter reply of Axis bank came – “Thank you for writing to us. We have done the needful. The mentioned branch has been added in the list of IFSC in iConnect site.

In case of SBI, they have simply enabled the branch for NEFT within a few days of the intimation regarding the issue.

This is what a responsive bank should be like – at the same time the account holder should also be equally alert type -’jagruk grahak
